I brought my car in Thursday the 22nd, they don’t call me for 4 days finally I have to call them and they don’t explain what’s wrong with it. Finally I go in and get a straight answer, it was the O2 Ratio Sensor they say it’s gonna be $613 to fix on top of the $112 I had to put for them to inspect, but the kicker is that the part that I need is only about $150 and I replaced it myself in less than 10 mins. I go in to pick up my car and they try to charge me $190. I only agreed to the $112 for the inspection, finally I get them down to $126 and go to drive my car home and the gas is empty, so basically I paid them 126 bucks to drive around for a week and waste gas. Horrible business, do NOT recommend, they will try to rob you.
Hugh, Looking at our records we were unable to find a service history under your name. However, after reading your review, I wouldn’t expect any reputable shop not to charge for diagnostics for this kind of issue. In the process, car may needs to be driven. I can’t imagine any shop have time or desire to drive around your car for fun. Most of the time finding the cause is hard and usually repair is easy. Hope everything works out for you.
