Jose at Hamilton auto was the best technician I have ever encountered in the auto industry. Not only did he take the time to make sure I got the oil that was the best value for my car, he also did some research into an issue I was having with my car and found out it is because of my make/year and I can get the part replaced for no charge at a dealership. I left my car the night before and they called to let me know they were working on it and roughly how long. Very professional and friendly. I use them for all my cars.

I brought my Lincoln here on Wednesday July 21 to have them diagnose a loud rattling sound. I purposely brought it first thing in the morning when they open (after making an appointment) because I need my car for work and can’t afford to be without it for too long. I called them at the end of the business day and they stated that they did not even have time to look at my car at all. So then I called them on Thursday morning. I was told that the noise was caused by a loose wire from my brakes that I had replaced a couple of weeks ago, but the rattling noise has been going on for months now, long before the brakes got done. When I told them this, they asked me if I thought the sound was coming from the exhaust. Obviously I’m not a mechanic, which is why I brought it to them, I have no idea what the noise was or where it was coming from but I do know that it was loud and constant so if they test drove the car, there’s no way that they couldn’t have heard the noise. The next day was Friday and they still hadn’t done any work on the car, nor had they even diagnosed the problem so I went back and picked it up since they had my car for two days (with an appt) and they never even bothered to look at it. ETA: I do not believe their response below. The car has been making a constant nonstop loud rattling noise for several weeks. It is not intermittent at all. The noise is ALWAYS there. So for them to say they couldn’t duplicate I feel like is an outright lie.
